My client is a leading Radio broadcaster here in Australia. They continue to innovate and push the boundaries in their area of Media and now have two flagship brands that are market leaders. This is an offline brand with a growing digital presence and one that has stood the test of time and emerged with an illustrious image.
Due to the growth of the Direct sales team, an opportunity has opened up for a hungry sales professional to target around 100 accounts that have become inactive; and to redevelop the relationship with them and develop new revenue streams. These accounts will be from a variety of industries and will range from SMEs to Corporates with varying levels of current media spend.
As you are working for a household name, opening doors and getting meetings will not be as challenging as it is for smaller players and so, with the right attitude, this is a role with huge potential. You will also be completing the sales cycle, generating proposals and negotiating rates, as well as assisting in the delivery of the campaigns.
Once you have re-engaged the client you will then build a lasting relationship and become their trusted advisor; with client entertainment and internal staff functions common place.
This is a growing Company and a role with huge career potential. The prospect of growing into more senior sales roles and potentially management level in the future. You will also earn generous, uncapped commissions with the OTE in year one being around $150K
To be successful, you need to show a strong track record in new business solution sales where you have sold face to face. Digital, Print, Radio and Outdoor Media sales experience are all highly regarded; but most important is a pro-active, positive approach and a hunger to succeed.
You must also have a current Driver's license and preferably your own car
