The Mater Private Hospital Springfield (MPHS) Cancer Care Admin Team is second-to-none, committed to safe and compassionate care whilst providing a comprehensive and compassionate service that is individually personalised to meet patient’s specific needs.
MPHS Cancer Care is searching for a full time Administration Officer with experience in hospital clinic bookings management to join the team in a permanent position, seamlessly integrating in to an already highly successful and welcoming team to continue to be ‘exceptional every time’.
You will provide high class administrative support to patients and staff of Cancer Care, Outpatients and Specialty Suites, assisting to coordinate Outpatients between sites at Springfield. This includes completing appropriate paperwork, admissions, discharges and transfers, including but not limited to informed financial consent, fund checks, personal details and other relevant documentation.
Your dedication to customer service and focus on a positive patient journey will see you succeed in this role, as will your extensive knowledge from previous hospital administrative role/s and well-developed use and understanding of medical terminology. You will have advanced computer skills and experience with hospital database systems, high level proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
This role will be primarily rostered office hours, Monday to Friday. However it may incur occasional after hours, evening or weekend shifts. Occasional travel to Mater Private Hospital Brisbane may also be required.
Salary range: $29.41 - $31.49 (Clerk Level 4) per hour plus superannuation
