Management of End User and Distributor Accounts

Keeping at the forefront of their market through trend setting innovation and a high focus on R'n'D, our clients supply a range of capital and consumable products to a range of industrial and commercial markets across the ANZ region.
Having recently undergone a restructure of their commercial/industrial business unit nationally, the company are now seeking to recruit a strong BDM to continue the development and growth of the QLD commercial business unit.
Based in Brisbane, and with responsibility for both the SE QLD and Some Regional areas, the successful individual will be expected to manage a network of existing distributors and resellers, working closely with these businesses, to help them develop and grow their markets in their geographical territories.
There is also a keen focus in this role, on managing the companies direct corporate accounts, and in this part of the role the BDM will be expected to negotiate with a variety of clients across the Leisure, Hospitality, Facilities Services, Industrial, and Government departments.
This is a highly autonomous role, reporting back to an Interstate based RM, and as such will afford the successful individual a great deal of autonomy to develop the business as they see fit.
A strong sales professional, with a passion for client management and development, you should arrive with a dynamic and proactive nature, and ideally have been involved in selling into a range of end user clients, whilst at the same time managing a network of distributors and resellers (small business type enterprises).
Prior experience of selling a branded product, or branded equipment is highly desirable, as is some experience of selling capital products or consumable items.
You will be rewarded with a highly competitive package which includes a base salary of up to $75K, plus super, fully maintained vehicle plus fuel card, Credit Card, Mobile phone, Laptop. Plus a bonus of up to $22,000 in year 1.
