Racing Victoria’s Raceday Services team has an opportunity for a casual Barrier Attendant to join us as a Cadet mainly for the metropolitan region.
In this role you will work at race meetings, jump outs and trials to assist in loading horses safely and efficiently in barrier stalls in preparation for the start of a race. You will also provide assistance should a horse be injured or lose its rider and at times be required to follow the field in the lead vehicle in races that pass the winning post twice. You will also work closely with all race day staff to ensure the safety of all race day participants on course.
