Provide clinical cardiology diagnostic and database service on an in-patient and out-patient basis.
Perform haemodynamic recording and monitoring.
Perform physiological measurements and analysis.
Provide cardiac technical troubleshooting on equipment as required.
CARDIAC TECHNOLOGIST – GRADE 2 (Temprary Part Time until January 2018)
A vacancy exists in Cardiology Department for a Temporary Part Time Cardiac Technologist Grade 2. The successful applicant will have experience in the Echo and/or EPS Laboratory. Experience with ECG, Holter Monitoring, Stress Testing, Tilt Table Testing, Cardiac Catheterisation or Pacing/AICD follow-up is also required.
The successful candidate must have completed a science degree preferably health science as well as the ability to participate in rotational on-call for urgent coronary angiography.
Salary in accordance with the Health Employees Cardiac Technologist Grade 2 Award.

This position is Temporary Part Time until 19/01/2018 and is classified as a Cardiac Technologist Gde 2. Note that employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if the position cannot be filled on a permanent basis.

Selection Criteria Bachelor of Science Degree or qualifications or competencies deemed equivalent by the employer.
