With their strength residing in the NSW market, this consultancy is looking for a skilled and experience Civil Design Drafter to join its transport team of elite professionals in Sydney. ABOUT THE POSITION. As a Civil Design Drafter, you will be a key and valued member in the transport division. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of major upcoming roads and highways projects throughout NSW. Utilising your knowledge of local RMS standards, you will work alongside an established team of engineers, designers and drafters to ensure all projects, designs and specification reports are delivered on time and adhere to all company and industry standards. DUTIES.
Coordinate and prepare designs and documentation for roads and highway projects across NSW
Manage time and budgets to ensure your projects are delivered on time
Design your projects using 12D, MX and AutoCAD software
Liaise with Clients, Councils and other authorities for project design and specifications SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
Related tertiary qualifications will be advantageous
Display a previous successful portfolio of roads and highways projects
Skilled and proficient with 12D, MX, civil3D and AutoCAD software
Knowledge and experience with RMS and Australian standards
Strong verbal and written communication skills
