An excellent opportunity for a tier 1 qualified broker to take on the position of Client Manager in our Caloundra branch. As part of the Client Services team you’ll be managing your own portfolio of commercial accounts, involving yourself in developing client relationships and enhancing their experience, whilst identifying opportunities to cross-sell.
Responsibilities will also include;
- Supporting Senior Client Managers with their client portfolios
- Placing risk across all classes of insurance
- Following up underwriters, managing complex premium calculations, checking policy wordings and finalising renewals
- Identifying new business opportunities and working with the team to convert them into profitable clients
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following;
- Experience in commercial broking or underwriting, preferably with a tier 1 qualification
- Exposure to managing clients through handling your own portfolio or supporting a Senior Client Manager
- Good knowledge base and understanding of the commercial product classes
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Working in a deadline-driven environment comes naturally as does responding effectively under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication
