State Street Australia Limited (Global Services) is a leader in financial services, with a long and trusted history in the custodial and asset servicing business. We provide the highest level of custody, accounting and related services to collective investment vehicles globally.
We are currently seeking a Compliance Analyst, preferably from a financial services background to join the Compliance Team, reporting to the Global Services, Head of Compliance.
Support the Compliance Manager to implement on an annual basis the Corporate Compliance OversightProgram
Assist in the ongoing review and documentation of GS compliance policies & procedures
Together with the team, advise business units on regulatory andcompliance matters as they relate to their operations
Monitor legislative developments and advise as to their impact on the GSbusiness units.
Assist with the development and administration of the GStraining programs.
Participate in localand global compliance projects.
Various compliance related administrative functions.
You will require the following education and experience to be considered for the role:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent- law, business, economics/commerce
At least 5 years of experience in financial services, ideally in a custodian environment.
Strong technical skills, in particular of Chapter 7 of the Corporations Act.
A good understanding of the AML/CTF legislation.
Communications and organisational skills.
Developing management skills.
Sound project management skills.
Sound analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong computer skills including knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database application.
Team player whilst having ability to work autonomously with management guidance.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
