The customer service officers are the face of the organisation and will interact with more patrons and clients than any other role in the facilities. As the customer service officers represent the organisation to the greatest number of people it is vital that they hold up the values of the YMCA; Respect, Responsibility, Honesty and Caring. The Customer Service Officer role will also involve advocating for the facility as well as each patron.
There is a strong emphasis on the team culture at the Boroondara Leisure and Aquatic Facilities. You will join a team that values work life balance and appreciates the importance of the social aspect of work. Each team member will receive upskilling in sales skills, customer relation skills and administration practices through responding to membership enquiries, customer requests, member feedback and general administration tasks.
You will be employed at one centre across the Boroondara sites, please specify your preferred centre in your cover letter. It is a requirement for the role that you are available to work consistently and frequently over the Christmas and New Years break.

The Boroondara Leisure and Aquatic Facilities are state of the art and provide health club, swimming lessons, crèche, holiday programs, birthday parties, group fitness classes, sporting courts and more! We work in partnership with the City of Boroondara. The Four centres are busy community hubs providing a fast paced environment with learning opportunities to any team member looking to develop Customer Service skills.
