We are currently looking for an experienced Education Accreditiation Coordinator to oversee the accreditation and curriculum development of the Salvation Army’s independent schools programs. To review and amend where necessary relevant policies and procedures to ensure they comply with legislative requirements and relevant educational standards. Support the teaching of at risk young people
An understanding, empathy, appreciation and the ability to promote the values and ethos of The Salvation Army.
Tertiary qualifications in Education and Accreditation as a teacher
Demonstrated experience in developing curriculum, lesson plans and teaching resources
Demonstrated experience in the developing of policies and quality systems
5 + years demonstrated experience teaching high school students
Experience delivering special assistance education programs
Strong working knowledge of the vocational education sector
Demonstrated ability to interpret legislation, government communication and research findings and to communicate these
High level computer skills including word processing, powerpoint, excel, emails and internet
High level oral and written communication
Ability to travel intrastate and interstate as required
Current drivers license
