An exciting permanent opportunity is available for an Events and Communication Officer to join our Marketing and Communication sub program within the Corporate Services Program. Your events and communication expertise could see you in this key role strengthening public awareness of the Public Trustee's core services. This role supports the Public Trustee's (PT) Marketing and Communication team and is responsible for identifying and executing event plans and undertaking a range of communication campaigns and activities.

The PT is a professional trustee service organisation whose purpose is to lead the evolution and delivery of trustee, estate and administrative services that makes a positive difference in the lives of Queenslanders through its' people, partnerships, and industry expertise. The PT has approximately 600 staff located across 16 regional service centres, including the central office in Brisbane.

For this role you will:

  • Have experience in identifying and developing proposals, executing events and designing campaigns to meet strategic objectives
  • Work collaboratively with the Manager, Marketing and Communication to conduct product and market assessments and gather market intelligence on competitor analysis and market trends
  • Provide communication support to the Marketing and Communication team including the preparation of content for multiple communication mediums, and contribute to project operations
