Centacare Family and Relationship Services (CFRS) is a non-profit community organisation that supports the strengthening of family and community relationships, particularly where there is vulnerability and disadvantage. CFRS brings a commitment of care and respect to our work in family and relationship services. We aim to support and strengthen healthy relationships; to promote an understanding of the need for respect and equity in relationships. We aim to empower, support and educate families in making healthy choices. We work in an atmosphere of inclusivity and collaboration with the wider community. CFRS are committed to providing culturally sensitive support services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) families in our local community.
Our Family and Relationship Services provide professional, community-based services that enhance the lives, relationships and wellbeing of individuals, families and communities in all their diversity.
We are seeking to appoint a full-time Family and Relationship Services (FaRs) Practitioner to deliver a range of within the framework of Centacare Family and Relationship Services (CFRS) mission, values and vision. It is anticipated that the FaRs practitioner will work closely with a range of programs within the Gold Coast region and will include travelling to external venues for some service delivery.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Social or Behavioural Sciences from a recognised tertiary institution or equivalent.
Experience and/or interest in working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities would be highly desirable.

Social Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award Level 5.1 $62,791.56 annually - plus 9.5% superannuation and 17.5% annual leave loading
