Financial Services Organisation (FSO) - Business Development Executive - Sydney or Melbourne
Business Development professional within our Financial Services Practice,
you’ll work with account teams to build relationships with our clients, drive
new business and build revenue growth across a portfolio of priority accounts.

About the opportunity
In your role as a Business Development Executive you will:
the nominated accounts for EY through the origination of new opportunities
and the development of new client relationships
the sales process for a portfolio of strategic opportunities per account
(including identifying and closing new business)
and manage firm resources to close new business opportunities
consistent pricing and contractual arrangements within the account
win/loss reviews to determine what factors caused the firm to win or lose
business and proactively share this information with the account team
the account team regarding the account management activities, including
the account management system
implementation of the relationship management process
account strategy workshops and facilitate the budgeting and planning and
forecasting processes on an annual basis.
We’re looking for people with the following experience:
- 10+ years’ experience in a
strategic sales environment, with a proven track record, preferably in the
Banking or Wealth and Asset Management sectors
- Demonstrated experience selling
to C-suite and heads of business units within Financial Services
- Excellent relationship
building skills and the ability to utilise networks to uncover and develop
- A proven ability to lead virtual
teams brought together around an account opportunity
- Detailed financial knowledge
gained through selling complex solutions
- Ability to quickly
understand complex products and broad service offerings
- Program management skills to
run multiple priorities/ campaigns/ client commitments concurrently
- Previous exposure to major
