Opening in December 2016, International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) is destined to be the premier business and cultural events precinct in the Asia Pacific region, showcasing Sydney to the world through its convention, exhibition and entertainment centre.
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Floor Manager to join our Culinary Services team to oversee the delivery of world class food and beverage experiences at ICC Sydney.
This role will act as a vital leader within our Culinary Services division, as we prepare to open and manage a $1.5 billion development that will transform the Darling Harbour precinct.
This role is responsible for:
- To implement and maintain the highest standards of client and guest service, and operational excellence making ICC Sydney’s food & beverage offer a key differentiating factor.
- Plan, organise and direct a large and diverse team of Food and Beverage team members to deliver all aspects related to food service and logistics in the event management process, ensuring world class culinary and guest service experiences. This will drive repeat event business and achievement of the department’s financial targets.
- Deliver innovative food and beverage delivery experiences that are of a high quality across the food and beverage operation.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and manage operating costs more effectively.
The successful candidate will bring extensive industry experience including 2 years in a supervisory role preferably in a large scale, fast paced, high volume venue with multiple outlets or a restaurant chain or high volume quality food service caterer. Relevant legislative certification including a valid NSW RSA Competency card and Food Safety certificate.
