This international group is currently in the process of a group wide finance transformation project. As such a Shared Service centre has been created and we are currently looking to appoint a Group Head of Shared Services.
Your key responsibility will be to oversee; accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, procurement, billings and credit governance. Once established you will be tasked with leading several key projects around process improvement and transformation. Other responsibilities will including leading, developing and managing the teams responsible for strategic sourcing, contract management, vendor management, accounts payable, credit and receivables, billings and payroll.
Whilst the primary purpose of this appointment is to find a individual who can lead a newly created Shared Service Centre. It has to be recognised that this has been the result of a larger restructure and transformation journey. Therefore it is essential that you can demonstrate to the ability to lead others through a period of change and transformation.
You are an innovative thinker who knows how to take projects to the next level. Your implementation and advisory skills are developed, and you have the ability to provide solutions for the most complex of organisational challenges. In addition, you will ideally have:
Delivered Corporate Services, Shared Services and / or Finance Transformation initiatives to top-tier clients with over 15 years of experience in the industry.
Operating model, organisation, systems and process change implementation experience in a Corporate Shared Services environment covering functional areas of Finance, IT, Procurement and Facilities Management is essential.
A proven program / project management governance mindset and methodology approach.
Managed Business Process Outsourcing transitions with all stakeholders
Experience in integrating Managed Service Providers into organisations
Ensured effective prioritisation and dependency management are achieved on programs whilst interfacing with other concurrent organisational change activity to achieve positive business outcomes.
Superior stakeholder management and influencing skills, having engaged with senior client stakeholders and have the credibility to both listen and adjust but also pull them out of their comfort zones, taking them on a journey of transformation.
