Due to a recent promotion, we are currently looking for a Human Resources Manager – Australasia based in our Sydney Corporate Office. In alignment with the IHG Global and Australasia HR people strategy, this role contributes to, and drives the Human Resources and People Agenda within the Sydney Corporate Office. This role will be responsible for partnering with the Executive team, providing HR services that enable the delivery of business results to meet IHG performance targets.

Reporting to the Senior Director Human Resources, Australasia & Japan, you will be responsible for partnering and supporting the effective delivery of Asia Middle East & Africa wide HR initiatives and processes. This role acts as HRBP to the Sydney Corporate Office, coordinates and embeds the talent agenda across the sub-region and works in partnership with the Area HR Directors across Australasia in partnership to transact on, have oversight to and ensure quality & continuous improvement of Australasia hotel operations and operations support in line with changing business requirements and legislative changes. The Australasia central contact point with global and external parties on agreed IHG initiatives and projects. Supported by an HR Specialist – Australasia for process, administration and reporting.

Responsible for driving organisational capability, this role will ensure winning becomes a habit through the delivery of HR services, coordinating and fostering all aspects of colleague employment lifecycle programs, and through leading, coaching and mentoring executives within the Sydney corporate office.

To be successful in your application, you will bring with you a minimum of 5 years HR Management experience with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an HR leadership or Corporate Office role providing ‘hotel operations support’ simultaneously within a recognised multinational organisation is essential. You will currently hold an internationally recognised Degree in Human Resources Management.

A proven track record in key stakeholder management across a range of international geographies and organisational levels. Sound negotiation, change management and organisation skills. High level of business acumen, excellent personal presentation skills and a solid understanding of employee relations practice. Experience in using Taleo and Workday would be a benefit.
