As the International Programme Sales Specialist you will be part of the Customer & Distribution team within our Global Corporate business unit. This is a unique opportunity for you to be our International Programme expert, combining your highly technical knowledge and market facing skills to develop, promote and grow Zurich’s International Program value proposition within Australia and New Zealand for Global Corporate and Brokers.
Reporting to the Head of Customer & Distribution, you will develop our International business strategy and value proposition in accordance with Group strategy and Customer and Broker needs. You’ll maximise business revenue and retention, and drive the performance of International business, thus being accountable for Zurich’s success in the marketplace.
This is more than just a sales role as you will also be highly focussed on developing and delivering the International Programme content in depth across the market through presentations, influencing, communication and relationship building. You will engage with customers, brokers and other key market relationships to obtain feedback, develop business opportunities, and regularly review performance.
To be our ideal candidate…
We are looking for someone with relevant experience in International Business including engagement with corporate customer relationships. You will have a strong understanding of International Insurance markets and global insurance programmes, as well as understanding local market dynamics. Your sales development experience dealing with large and multinational companies, along with your ability to build strong long term relationships based on mutual trust and confidence of customers will be highly regarded.
It is also essential that you have excellent communication, negotiation, influencing and relationship management skills to be successful in this role.
