An opportunity has become available for a talented logistics coordinator to join the business to support their logistics function, in a fast paced and challenging environment.

About the role

This role is a 6 month contract, initially to support the business - located in Eastern Creek. Your role will be to ensure that the business delivers a high quality service to all its customers, taking ownership of the end to end running of the logistics shipping activities. You will be responsible for controlling the transport services to customers, along with analysing the transport costs with a focus on spend optimisation.

On top of this, you will be responsible for maintaining key supplier and customer relationships with the aim to manage logistics projects, with an emphasis on continuous improvement, in conjunction with their 3PL. You will act as an escalation point for the 3PL providers and assist in the coordination of all warehouse activities.

Oversea all aspects of coordinating shipping, transportation and 3PL activities
Providing administration support to the planning team.
Accurate and timely processing of all import documentation and other certificates where required.
Managing third party logistics partners adherence to agrees service level agreements.
Additional ad hoc supply chain project work where required. Skills & Experience
Prior experience in a similar role
Relevant degree (preferred)
Proven capability working with SAP ERP system and a solid proficiency in working with Excel.
Exposure to working within a global company
Effective communication skills and the ability to coordinate efficiently with multiple stakeholders.
