Our client is one of the worlds most ground breaking and aspirational companies. They are at the forefront of engineering and design and they are on the hunt for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join their impressive team here in Sydney, Australia.
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the marketing team with the implementation of tactical marketing activities to promote the brand portfolio. The successful candidate must be extremely well organised, with a keen eye for detail and the flexibility to work on different tasks. Reporting to the marketing manager and working closely with the team, the Marketing Coordinator will manage day to day queries and requests by the regions, managing responses and providing general administrative support to the marketing team. It is a varied, fast-paced position that requires juggling multiple tasks and priorities on a daily basis. The need for a Mandarin speaking candidate in this role is paramount as translation will be a major part of this role.
Support marketing team with implementation of a range of marketing projects and communications tactics
Assist the marketing team with co-ordination, planning and execution on a wide variety of tasks e.g. from booking travel to digital and off-line marketing activities, including emails, banner ads, e-mail Table of Contents (eTOC) alerts, print ads, conference collateral.
Support the creation of marketing material for campaigns as necessary and promotional copy / material for all marketing channels (email, eTOC, banners, print ads, flyers etc.).
Coordinate distribution of conference materials using cost-effective channels in a timely way
Translation from English to Mandarin for marketing copy-write
Support the Marketing team with other ad hoc project support needs.
Ensure internal databases are kept up to date and accurate. Experience, skills and qualifications
Strong organisation and planning skills
Bachelors Degree highly regarded
Relationship management and excellent communication skills
Track record of having worked in a marketing function providing support to multi-geographic teams
Computer literate - understands common software (e.g. Microsoft Office suite) and gains new software skills quickly
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong attention to detail
