Our client is an innovative building materials and construction company that works alongside some of the biggest brands in the industry. They are currently looking for an ongoing Office Accountant and all rounder who will support the overall running of the day to day and report into the Finance Manager, due to the growing demands of the business.

This role is a great opportunity for a part-qualified full function Accountant or Accounts Assistant to prove their capabilities across all responsibilities of the Finance function.

The role is primarily based in the North West of Sydney but with some travel to sites around Sydney.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining the ERP system, on a day to day basis and for month end
  • Assist with the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, assisting customers and suppliers with enquiries
  • Running reports for the management team
  • Assist with analysis of the accounts
  • Assist staff with enquiries
  • Other tasks such as providing information for Group Tax to prepare the BAS
Skills & Qualifications required:

You will be a highly motivated team player with the ability to work autonomously and think outside of the box

In addition, they are looking for an individual that has:
  • A tertiary qualification in Accountancy
  • 2-3 years previous experience in a similar role
  • Construction, infrastructure or manufacturing experience
  • Experience with a small business ERP would be advantageous
  • Own transport and the ability to travel to various sites around Sydney
