Your role in the future:
As Operational Capability Lead your primary role will be to ensure the operational and technical strategy delivering and supporting operational scale and system enhancements to ensure the activation and assurance of 8 million happy homes on the NBN network across multiple technologies.
This role will diagnose and provide the operational requirements, prioritise the delivery, test and accept the OSS systems delivery into production, manage the change into the workforce operational groups whilst continuously improving the processes to drive operational efficiency. Key technologies will include FTTP, FTTB, FTTN, Wireless, LTSS and Infrastructure Services.
As this is a strategy and scalability role the function will support and report on all programs for Activations and workforce, tracking risks, tracking progress and reporting for all projects and initiatives through to delivery.

- Driving continuous business improvement initiatives, including identify, quantify, solution development, prioritisation and implementation to improve operational performance.
- Strategic planning and governance for Activations into Products to ensure on time delivery to customers.
- Ensuring clear change communication into BAU streams and thorough UAT/BRT testing.
- Developing and driving Operational Support process and IT requirements across all relevant forums.

A bit about you:
You will have proven experience with managed workforces in Forecasting, Scheduling and Field Activities and operational technical experience in GPON, Copper, HFC and Wireless technologies.
You will have strong stakeholder engagement skills, excellent communication skills – both written and verbal and experience with a strategic and scalable product, implementing change management into BAU streams.
This is an exciting, wide-ranging and key role helping NBN Co to achieve and exceed its performance targets, as well as ensure that Service Activations is operating efficiently.
