As Product Manager, Education, you will work closely with the Clinical
Solutions Director, Content and Sales teams, to continually update and improve
existing products and develop new products for Elsevier. You will build
products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your
experience in the academic and/or eLearning environment. You will spend time in
the market to understand and document customer problems, and find innovative
solutions for the broader market.

You will be involved through
all stages of a product family’s lifecycle and work with a distributed team of
international product and project managers, in-house and external developers,
editorial and marketing staff. You will work with technical counterparts to
define product requirements, and with the marketing team to refine the
go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key
benefits, and target customer. For assigned products, you will be responsible
for operationalising the products, and overseeing ongoing product maintenance,
releases and edition management, keeping your products fresh, up to date and
ahead of the competition.


To be considered for this

role you will need to possess:
Work experience in academic publishing, research
or healthcare

Proven project management skills; as well as
strong commercial acumen

Experience in working in a complex, matrix
international environment;

Excellent communication skills, with the drive to
see things through to completion

Ability to influence global stakeholders and have
a true passion for outcomes
