Overview of Role
GroupM Connect are searching for a Programmatic Account Manager who is passionate about delivering ahead of the curve, programmatic media campaigns. You will be a client service guru seeking a new challenge in display, video and other programmatic channels, someone who is curious in their approach to campaign data analysis, and thrives on delivering creative ways to grow their clients’ accounts and presenting new opportunities. This role will report into the Programmatic Director.

Measures of Success

In three months:
Demonstrated a clear understanding of GroupM Connect’s proposition, in particular across the programmatic product
A working knowledge of all of the clients and campaigns within your portfolio
Built great, collaborative relationships with the Connect team, your key clients and your agency peers and have a good grasp of what is important in delivering success

In six months:
A sound understanding of your clients and campaigns, providing regular reporting and insights, presented new opportunities and provided continual recommendations to improve results
Kept up-to-date on new programmatic media initiatives from our vendors and technology partners, sharing insights and opportunities with your counterparts
Set up regular updates with your teams to ensure performance and service levels are maintained

In 12 months:
Actively contributed in developing the programmatic product for Connect
Become a trusted advisor to your agency and client partners, and delivered many successful programmatic campaigns
Created and presented your own case study of a successful campaign or product for one of your clients
Shared your channel specific knowledge with the Connect team, as well as your clients, through facilitating training and providing in-depth programmatic strategies

Key Responsibilities of this Role
Provide best-in-class client service and programmatic campaign management
Develop strong, trusted relationships with our clients, agency and platform partners, advocating and effectively communicating GroupM Connect’s programmatic products
Understand the goals and success metrics, marketing, seasonality, USP’s, product set and competitors of all of your clients, and transform this information into marketing leading campaigns
Ownership of campaign delivery and optimisation; managing campaign budgets effectively, all the while exceeding your campaign goals, objectives and expectations
Maintain a sound understanding of all existing and new developments across the programmatic landscape and technologies
Be an expert in our preferred technologies to implement and manage
Support the development of operations and best-practice that drive the success of this business unit
Regular revenue forecasting and reporting, as well as product analysis and recommendations for management
Seek opportunities to not only grow and develop client campaigns, but look for creative ways to introduce new products and opportunities
Over time, take on management of a direct report, providing training, mentorship and development opportunities, that is cultivating best in market talent

What You Will Bring to Our Team:
Undergraduate degree in a related field
Passion for programmatic advertising, and a sound understanding of the technology and trends shaping the industry
3 to 5 years’ experience in digital marketing, with significant experience in an operational and management capacity in programmatic media
People management experience desirable
Intermediate to high level of experience in Excel and PowerPoint - confidence gathering, manipulating and presenting data in multiple formats
Strong understanding of brand and performance KPIs related to programmatic media, as well as the ability to analyse data and deliver meaning insights
Extensive experience working in market leading DSPs and capable of learning new platforms.
Strong understanding of conversion tracking and ad serving technologies, in terms of tracking set up, the workflow and troubleshooting
Written and verbal communication skills, including a confidence in presenting and experience communicating the benefit of marketing opportunities to brands
Time management and personal organisation; must be comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, campaigns and deadlines
