Position Details

VPSG-3 range $62,535 - $75,930 p.a. + super + leave loading (pro-rata)

Part time (0.6 FTE) fixed term position available until 15/09/2017

Working within the Business Management Division, State Emergencies and Security Command located at the Victoria Police Centre, 637 Flinders Street, Docklands, 3008*

About the role

As the successful applicant, you will sit in the Business Management Division of the State Emergencies and Security Command and be responsible for a number of reporting and coordination functions as well as assisting with various projects.

Some of your duties will include:
Coordinating Command Quarterly Action Plan Reporting

Organising First Aid Training for the Command

Provide high level secretarial support to committees within the Command

Conduct research and participate in projects relating to the strategic direction of the Command on behalf of Executive Management

Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of departmental information systems and registers as they relate to business and strategic planning and training

Skills and experience

As the successful applicant you will have:
Ability to work with limited supervision as well as part of a team

Advanced MS Office and computing skills, specifically in the use of Excel and PowerPoint

Good written and verbal communication skills

Excellent time management

Requirements and relevant information

  • Your usual place of work will be within the Business Management Division, State Emergencies & Security Command, however you may be required to work at any other Division within the State Emergencies & Security Command as required.
