In recent years we have grown significantly and now deliver a range of services in Sydney, Southern NSW and the ACT. As part of this growth we have seen sustained increase in demand for our Trusted Clinical Services and this is increasing as we move forward into the NDIS.
Trusted Clinical Services is a multidisciplinary team of professionals offering a range of therapeutic supports including speech therapy, behaviour intervention, psychological, exercise physiology, occupational therapy and complex health support services.
The purpose of the Clinical/Registered Psychologist is to provide psychological services within a multi-disciplinary team to the participants and families of The Disability Trust through assessment, diagnosis, and provision of support services and assistance in the development and evaluation of behaviour support and intervention program.
What you require to succeed in this role:
A recognised degree in Psychology, with eligibility for membership of associated professional board
Demonstrated experience supporting teams implement agreed strategies to achieve positive outcomes
Demonstrated experience and interest in supporting people with disabilities
Current knowledge of the issues, trends and philosophies underpinning the provision of services to people with disabilities, their families and carers
Current knowledge of a range of tools for positive behaviour support, counselling, assessment and intervention requirements
Demonstrated skills in assessment, interpretation and implementation of lifestyle enhancing programs for people with developmental disabilities
Current Driver's License
Willingness to do some travelling to our regional sites
Willingness to obtain a Working with Children's Check
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) 40110
