    The Division of Services and Resources enables the University's delivery of high-quality and distinct learning, teaching and research experiences. The division's strategic responsibilities have evolved from the University of Adelaide's strategic plan, focusing on people, community, assets and infrastructure and processes.

    Finance and Procurement Services manages University financial transactions and reporting, oversees budget development, and provides taxation and accounting advice and services. The branch also manages relationships with suppliers and provides travel and fleet management services.

    Reporting to the Manager, Management Accounting & Reporting the Reconciliations Officer will undertake monthly bank reconciliations for the University's various working capital, investments and foreign currency accounts. The Reconciliations Officer is also responsible for the preparation of general ledger journals.

    Salary: (HE04) $57,995 - $63,790 per annum.

    Superannuation: An employer contribution of up to 17% may apply.

    Term of position: This continuing position is available immediately.

    Position requirements

    To be successful you should have:
    • Demonstrated high level Excel skills
    • Experience in the provision of high quality financial accounting services
    • Demonstrated experience in the collection, manipulation, analysis and reporting of data
    • Basic accounting / bookkeeping certificate or diploma with relevant work experience or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
