Apsley Recruitment was founded in Sydney in 2002 and specialises in Banking and Financial Services and Office Support recruitment. The business forms an integral part of the Professional Services division of the Rubicor Group. Situated in stunning offices based at Circular Quay, this role will see you join a young, energetic team of professionals where you work hard but still enjoy coming to work each day.

We are currently adding to our Office Support division and looking for a Consultant to join our team. Ideally you will have previous experience in a sales or recruitment environment and see this opportunity as a long term career position for you. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful boutique agency where you will be an integral team member who contributes to the ongoing success of the business. You will work alongside highly experienced recruiters who have built solid reputations in the Sydney market.

Advertising vacancies across a broad range of clients and job titles
Screening, phone interviewing and conducting face to face interviews with candidates
Management of the database
Maintaining strong relationships with our current candidates
Formatting of documents and resumes
Management of the recruitment process coordinating client interviews, client feedback, offer management and negotiation
Working closely with seasoned performers to gain solid understanding and knowledge of the recruitment process
Business development and marketing to clients
Accurate message taking and transferring of calls
Growing your own desk and developing and maintaining relationships
Working to KPI's and targets each day, week, month

Key skills and requirements

Degree qualified
Strong administration skills within a corporate environment, ideally from Recruitment/Sales/Professional Services industry
Strong attention to detail, business acumen, client service orientated
Excellent work ethic, willingness to learn and get involved with all elements of the business
Friendly, positive, energetic, highly motivated, ambitious & enjoys liaising with people
Enjoys working in a sales/revenue driven work environment
Professional, fun, social, engaging team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in all Microsoft packages
