Reporting into the Group Manager, Solution Consulting South for Government and Not for Profit, we're currently on the lookout for our a Solutions Consultant on a fixed term contract till 30 June 2017. Based in Adelaide, you'll see yourself in a customer interfacing technical consultant role where you'll work hand in hand with your aligned government account team. You'll provide the technical interface and solution leadership that bridges our customers' business requirements with the application of Telstra's products and services, either directly or through strategic vendor partnerships. Owning the customer technology strategy, co-creating with the customer fit for purpose business solutions and advocating for your customer in Telstra also makes up part of your day.
So, what are we looking for? You have a proven track record in a technical sales role operating in a large sales organisation and a broad technical understanding across multiple technical domains. A self-starter, you're known for your strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management skills and the ability to present to and influence customers. We operate in a customer led organisation so your strong customer focus and love for getting out in front of the customer is paramount.
Working within a high-performing team, you'll be motivated, passionate and importantly, have a thirst for driving outcomes. You'll be able to handle multiple projects at any given time and will be confident taking a lead role in demand generation, opportunity identification and strategic account planning initiatives.
