OVERVIEW OF JOB
MEC is seeking a passionate, ambitious and savvy Senior Digital Manager for our Melbourne team. You will be responsible for leading and developing the digital product across our client portfolio and inspire a dynamic digital team to deliver the highest quality of work.
You will have proven success in delivering exceptional results and the ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients and media partners.
REPORTING OF THE ROLE
This role reports to the Managing Partner.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS –
In three months:
Demonstrate a strong understanding of our clients business, marketing objectives and challenges.
Settled into the agency and established a strong relationship with the team.
In six months:
Established a strong relationship with our clients and produced exceptional strategic digital communications solutions that deliver successful results for our clients.
Your team will be inspired and driven to produce high-quality and innovative solutions as the norm.
Demonstrate strong commercial and financial acumen through the management of the invoicing, digital trading deals and business opportunities.
In 12 months:
Grow and nurtured a strong relationship across all client contacts
Fostered the growth and development of your team
Educate the broader team and clients on the latest digital trends and innovations, as well as the evolution of MEC’s digital offering.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
As Senior Digital Manager you will be the primary contact for the client and will be the central point for the team that oversees the management and is accountable for the delivery of all digital campaigns including; planning, implementation, optimisations and reporting.
You will be responsible for building strong client relationships, taking client briefs and producing high standard, effective/efficient and profitable digital campaigns across our client portfolio. Each and every campaign from your team should follow industry best practice, challenge client briefs and incorporate the latest innovations and opportunities across digital.
As a leader, you will be responsible for inspiring and managing the development of the digital team to reach the same level of expertise through the campaign experience.
You will work collaboratively to identify opportunities in tandem with the wider agency team with the support of the national digital leadership team and the agency Managing Partner.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
We are looking for someone who is a passionate self-starter who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty. You will need to be resourceful, agile and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Strong work ethic and proficient time management skills are essential.
You will have the confidence in leading a team and possess the skills to build and foster meaningful relationships with the team, clients and media partners.
Digital is a part of your DNA and keeping up to date with industry trends and innovation is a keen interest to you.
You will have strong commercial acumen as a key part of the job will be working with the Managing Partner to identify opportunities for MEC and the success for clients.
