Junior team lead position suitable for a strong Senior Service Desk looking to step up. Large & well-known Retail firm in Western Sydney. $65-70k+ THE COMPANY

This company is a very well-known ASX-listed Retail-based organisation with a strong network of 400+ stores across Australia & New Zealand. They are a large household name that's carved a fantastic reputation across ANZ.

This role is based close to Blacktown in Western Sydney and has free on-site parking available.


This is a hands on Service Desk Team Lead position involving: handling escalations, rostering, mentoring/training team members, incident management and providing IT support to internal users.

It will initially be split to 80% IT support and 20% team leading so is suitable for a senior service desk candidate looking to step up and develop their team leading skills.

You'll be working in a busy and fast-paced IT Service Desk team of 15 and will be responsible for working collaboratively to support 400+ stores spread across Australia & New Zealand.

Hands on support duties include support and troubleshooting across telecommunications, applications, peripherals, networks, desktops, and internal systems across:
MS Windows 7, 8
Active Directory
Point-of-Sale (POS) systems
Remote Support tools
Network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP)


This role is suitable for Senior IT Service Desk candidate with a background inside a medium to large and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be experienced handling Service Desk escalations and demonstrate excellent people skills.

Willingness to get hands on with Service Desk support is required and a strong Microsoft background (Windows, AD, Office etc), Citrix is a must with and POS experience being highly beneficial.

Excellent customer service, troubleshooting and problem solving skills are essential.

This is a full time permanent role based near Blacktown in Western Sydney. It is offering $65,000 - $70,000 (plus super) - depending on experience.
