This position is a 12 month appointment as part of a multidisciplinary New Graduate Development Program specifically open to new graduate Speech Pathologists within their first year of graduating.
The Level 1 Speech Pathology New Graduate position will assess and manage clients with communication and/or feeding difficulties referred to Community Health. The position will provide services using a range of service delivery models (group, individual, clinics and case management), in a range of settings (clinic, pre/school, home) and in line with evidence-based practice. The position will be involved in multidisciplinary work with a range of relevant teams.

Selection Criteria Degree in Speech Pathology as recognised by SPAA Current NSW drivers licence (P2 licence acceptable) Undergraduate clinical experience in the provision of client/family centred speech pathology services for a range of communication difficulties Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, time management skills, and interpersonal skills Knowledge of and ability to use a collaborative approach when working with families and other service delivery partners Demonstrated knowledge and experience of applying quality improvement projects Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and application of evidence based practice
