Boral Construction Materials & Cement (SA) oversees the Asphalt, Concrete, Logistics & Quarry operations within the Victoria, South Australia & Tasmania region. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, self starting individual to undertake project work in our Sales/Logistics divisions over a 12 week period. This role is based in Norwood and reporting to the Sales Service Centre Manager - SA. An immediate start is preferred. The tasks/projects for the student are listed below:
Analyse data including call volumes, average length of calls, credit card transactions per day, peak call periods and leave periods to determine optimum resourcing levels for the Quarries Sales Service Centre (QSSC) and (as required) prepare business case for additional resources supported by data;
Prepare Service Level Agreement (SLA) to clarify responsibilities and accountabilities for QSSC and related divisions including production, sales and technical;
Based on SLA, assist with developing Standard Operating Procedures for the QSSC;
Assist with preparation of Position Descriptions for QSSC and Concrete Sales Service Centre (CSSC) positions; and
Assist with developing KPI tracking for Quarries and Concrete SSCs.
To be considered for these opportunities you will need to be completing or have recently completed a degree or similar qualification in a Commerce, Business or related discipline. You will need to be confident with IT and be able to pick up new computer systems easily. You must have an ability to work with and analyse data and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. An ability to quickly build good working relationships with a range of people will be essential for success in this role. Previous work experience in call centres or administration support would be highly regarded but not essential.
