Veolia Energy Solutions is a rapidly growing business with an exciting opportunity for an experienced HVAC and technical facility management services Team Leader. The primary role is to account manage and deliver services to a range of commercial critical infrastructure sites in the Sydney CBD and metro areas. The balance of the role involves carrying out operation and maintenance duties on a district cooling plant and recycled water plant, based at Sydney’s newest landmark development in the CBD.

The role provides account management, supervision and direction of various subcontractors and internal resources, after hours and technical support, planning and quoting, as well as carrying out planned and unplanned services, maintenance and upgrade requests.

Key responsibilities of this position

  • Account management providing technical facilities management to critical infrastructure sites.
  • Provide technical leadership of Veolia Energy resources and sub-contractors.
  • Carry out planned and unplanned service, maintenance and commissioning assistance of the sites associated with Veolia’s contractual obligations.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork related to the supervision, maintenance and service work performed and operational documentation.
  • Participate in call out roster for the sites or other energy solutions contracts.
  • Supervise work performed by subcontractors employed by Veolia as required.
  • Assist with carrying out operations and maintenance for the district cooling plant and recycled water plant.

To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • Experience with air conditioning and refrigeration plant operations and maintenance.
  • Understanding of critical infrastructure systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Experience or good working knowledge of Building Management Systems, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, and Fire Systems.
  • Australian recognised trade certificate in refrigeration and air conditioning.
  • Arc tick license
  • Driver’s licence
  • Willing to be trained in the operation and maintenance of a recycled water plant.
  • Police check required
