About the role:
As part of the Architecture team, you will be providing technical leadership across a range of technologies with a primary specialisation in Hyper-V and System Center Enterprise suite. You will lead the definition of the operational strategy for Hyper-V components, services, and technologies and actively participate with the overall strategic direction and planning of operational blueprints and technology roadmaps.

Continuously driving innovation and improvements, you will drive best practice into the technology stacks and mentoring of Level 2 and 3 technical support engineers. You will play a key role in infrastructure implementation, maintenance, enhancement and support as well as incident and relationship management focusing particularly on Hyper-V platforms.

You will ideally have:

  • Actively manage staff to achieve best results and meet key business drivers;
  • Generate ideas from your team for improvements to productivity.
Knowledge and proficiency

  • Well-developed people management skills, including coaching, performance management, team building, team motivation and team dynamics;
  • Extensive knowledge of ITIL and ISO 20001 principles and procedures.
Operational Service Delivery
  • Technical/Specialist Expertise across Hyper-V, System Center Enterprise suite (SCCM/SCOM/SCSM), Windows Azure Pack and Networking;
  • General knowledge of Firewalls, Anti-Virus/content filtering and TCP/IP, SMTP, POP3 gateway protocols;
  • Provide assistance on expert level technical matters;
  • Sound project management skills;
  • Proficient in PowerShell programming
  • Extensive knowledge of Wide Area Networking and TCP/IP;
  • Strong understanding of Interactive business functions;
  • Strong growth and performance potential;
  • Focused on serving the needs of customers and fellow team members;
Qualifications and Training
  • Technical Certification (MCSE);
  • Foundations Certificate in IT Service Management;
  • Bachelor level education in Computer Science or equivalent.
