Reporting to the Marketing Manager - Princess Cruises, the Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for successfully raising the profile and driving brand advocacy of Princess Cruises among the trade by developing and managing our trade communications and Academy training program strategies for Australia and New Zealand.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing the trade marketing plan including the B2B site, email, flyers, POS material, promotions and brand merchandise
  • managing the trade advertising budget, schedule and delivering advertising materials to trade publications
  • managing the delivery of all email communications to the Travel Agent audience
  • monitoring the performance of trade communications, making recommendations to improve engagement
  • ensuring field sales teams are well informed and equipped to promote key sales messages
  • managing the trade marketing communications budget
  • developing and executing the Academy program strategy and regularly identifying and improving the program (with the assistance of the Online Training Coordinator)
We seek applications from organised, creative and driven individuals with a minimum of 3-4 years' experience working in a trade or consumer marketing communications role who demonstrate:

an understanding of creative design, print and digital production
experience in developing communication strategies in B2B reseller environments
excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
strong relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional relationships
project management skills, with the ability to multitask, work to pressure and deadlines
high attention to detail and exceptional organisation skills
intermediate computer skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
knowledge of travel agent environment would be highly regarded
